Fire Heater Specialist

Responsiblities include but are not limited to:

Field service individual to assist in planning, inspecting, tuning, upgrading and troubleshooting various direct and indirect natural gas fired heaters and furnaces. Both onshore and Offshore.

There are a number which are continuously creating issues with stability and reliability from both the component level to the actual nozzles.  A strong technical background in design and upgrading would be the greatest assist.

Once we know that mods we need then the various jobs would need to be estimated and AFE's created and then run as mini projects.

• Preparation of bid estimates for engineering services and equipment.
• Preparation of technical specifications.
• Invitation of bids, bid comparison, technical order negotiations and purchase order award.
• Reviewing manufacturers’ documentation and cooperation in expediting vendor activities.
• Job coordination for fired heaters.
• Supervision of equipment erection and commissioning at the jobsite.
• Performance of the above tasks with a responsibility for quality, budget and schedule compliance.
• Development of new processes and equipment in the above area of work.

 • Degree in engineering, preferably in the discipline of process engineering, chemical engineering or mechanical engineering.
• Accomplished in PC software and electronic communication.
• Self-initiative, good decision-making qualities, assertiveness, ability to work in a team, good communication and negotiating skills.
