Our passion has made us a world leader in international dredging and marine contracting. Wherever Van Oord works, we obviously need to check our working areas. Our Survey department is currently seeking Graduate surveyors to supply all positioning services, hydrographical and surveying services needed to accurately carry out dredging, offshore and coastal protection projects. As a project Surveyor you will be responsible for initiating, setting up and executing all on site hydrographic survey work. This encompasses outlining a survey work method, mobilising and installing the necessary survey equipment and software, carrying out Field Checks, and collecting, processing and presenting relevant survey information. Next, you design models, calculate volumes and register the results. You keep up a survey administration, maintain your equipment and consult with the client. You will be working with advanced software and state-of-the-art survey equipment. | ||
| Skills | Do you hold, or are you about to obtain, a degree in Hydrography or equivalent? Are you independent, focused on results and a team player with perseverance? Do you have strong analytical, problem solving and communications skills, and are you accurate?
