| Description | PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (Carigali) is the wholly-owned Exploration and Production subsidiary of PETRONAS, the national oil company of Malaysia. Over the past 15 years, PCSB has expanded from domestic E&P company into a full-fledged international organization with interest in 55 E&P ventures located in 25 countries mainly in Asia, Africa and Middle East. Job Scope: Able to manage the preparation of tender document, specification and procedure for coastal and marine structure construction activities and ensure works are performed in accordance with contract requirement, project specifications and required quality. Quantity verification and Control for projects undertaken by EPCC. Ensure smooth coordination with EPCC Contractor project Engineer so that project execution takes place within budgeted time & cost. Principal Accountabilities: • Site Survey and taking measurements,quantities for marines/civil/steel structures and M&E works • Prepare Bill of Quantity and Budget cost at pre tender stage of project. • Preparation of Scope of Work for the Jetty/wharf project. • Familiar and able in preparing the basic engineering/design basis for construction of coastal and marine structure (Jetty/Wharf) for EPCC Contract. • Preparation of drawings details and construction methodology at tender stage. • Familiar with codes and standard for coastal and marine structure (Jetty/Wharf). • Able in preparing and manage the EPCC tender document requirement and review tender evaluation prior award. • Verify Bill of quantity and prices during tender evaluation. • Verify of progress payment proposal by Contractor for re-measurable or lump sum items. • Review and issue comments on Material submittals, method statements and safe job analysis submitted by contractor. • Apply project specific and general Company HSE plan and ensure SAFE practices at site during construction work. • Prepare and issue field instructions to construction contractor for specific construction activities. • Review & verify site measurements and quantities submitted by Contractor. • Check & verify the Contractor's invoices in accordance to specification, drawings, Bill of Quantities items and terms of Contract. • Prepare monthly cost analysis report including cost forecast. • Review and analyze variations/claims submitted by the Contractor. • Review and prepare final Account statement for the project. • Review and verify As-built drawings • Review and certify QA/QC Dossier. • Assist in preparation of project close out report and compilation of lesson learnt items noticed during construction. | ||
| Skills | Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Quantity Survey. • Minimum of 5-10 years as Project engineer/Quantity Surveying/Marine or Civil Construction experience. • Proficient in English. • Ability to use Microsoft Office software and etc. | ||
