Ecofys is currently looking for a (Senior) consultant carbon management

The Position
Ecofys is looking for a consultant who will be responsible for management and operation of projects in the field of energy and carbon management. These activities include the development of strategic objectives for corporate clients in the area of energy conservation, renewable energy and emission reduction, determination and management of the carbon footprint of companies and organisations, the identification of energy conservation and emission abatement opportunities and the implementation of practical measures and solutions. As consultant you would also acquire the team’s work in the above-mentioned areas. For this you closely co-operate with other colleagues.
SkillsYour profile
The ideal candidate combines experience in and knowledge of the energy and climate policy framework with strong technical and commercial skills. You have a university degree in engineering, energy and/or environmental technology or economics (or equivalent) and more than 3 years experience in the field of energy or emissions management. You have a commercial and customer-oriented attitude and are able to identify market opportunities. For our clients you can identify and evaluate the practical requirements and impacts of new policy frameworks. Essential is the ability to link strategic and conceptual thinking to a pragmatic approach and the ability to translate practical and/or technological information to strategic recommendations and vice versa. You are an experienced project manager and have good time management skills. You are a team player with a good oral and written command of English.
