In relation with rapidly expanding business in the field of biogas applications and anaerobic wastewater treatment, Ecofys seeks to expand its biogas team with a (Senior) Environmental Engineer / Biotechnologist The position The focus of the position will be the realization of anaerobic wastewater treatment and biogas application projects for the agro-industry worldwide. Job duties will include project design and management and technical design of anaerobic systems to concept level. Depending on the level of knowledge and experience the job may also include contract management, quality control and the coaching of junior staff members. | ||
| Skills | Your profile: The ideal candidate will have a degree in environmental engineering, wastewater/sanitary engineering or similar. Experience with consulting related to, design, commissioning and operation of anaerobic waste and wastewater treatment systems will be highly valued. Qualifications • Bachelors degree in business, science, engineering, or equivalent subject. • Masters degree, MBA, PhD would be beneficial. Skills • Project management. • Lead generation and proposal writing. • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Excellent oral and written command of English • Strong commercial attitude and entrepreneurial skills in identifying and seizing opportunities in a competitive market place • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Fluency/Proficiency in another language would be highly beneficial Personal qualities: You should: • Have a high level of emotional intelligence (EQ). • Actively work on developing and maintaining relationships. • Enjoy interacting with people and prefer using the telephone above email. • Be a positive thinker with a positive “anything is possible” type of attitude. • Be a motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit. • Have tenacity, endurance, and determination but balanced with patience.
