| Description | Basic Function Working for Director of Joint Venture Development & Support Department (JVD&SD), this position is a primary interface for the joint venture coordinators, petrochemical group and other Aramco organizations as a primary point for Aramco's center of petrochemical excellence. Principal Duties Leads activities with respect to Joint Venture Support and Development (overseas) and internal Aramco organizations, as required. Supervises a team of industry experts and specialists in the area of chemicals. Develops and ensures compliance of business processes with other Aramco organizations and internal standards. Directly involved with joint venture development that have a complex petrochemical element. Identifies and proactively manages optimization activities across joint ventures. Efficiently interfaces with refinery experts for overall optimization of coordination and development activities with respect to support for Aramco joint venture chemical operations. Oversees chemicals specialist development program. Mentors chemical specialists. Manages key external relationships providing chemicals knowledge reservoir for petrochemical group. Recommends and implements solutions to improve chemicals group efficiency. Scope Working independently and with considerable latitude with only general guidelines from the Director of JVD&SD, is responsible for directing joint venture support activities globally. Gives work direction for three senior consultants and sets priorities for two specialists. Interprets, parses and sets deliverables to meet internal and joint venture company needs with respect to marketing, investment analysis and technical aspects of joint ventures petrochemical portfolio. Interfaces with refinery team personnel as required providing a complete work product. Serves as one of the core individuals for building Aramco's center for petrochemicals excellence through continual monitoring of chemical industry developments and interface with key industry players. Serves as mentor for two chemical specialists and oversees development program. Actual locations of work may vary and work may require travel to joint venture or other locations. | ||
| Skills | Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline. Master in Business / Commerce desired. Minimum 15 years of experience in a broad spectrum of chemical industry value chains. Knowledge of refining and petrochemical process systems. Strong functional experience in the areas of technology / operations, business planning / investment analysis, marketing and / or purchasing. Thorough and complete understanding of due diligence processes with direct experience. Strong English communication skills (written / spoken) Demonstrated leadership / management skills. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Willing to travel. | ||
