| Description | POSITION DESCRIPTION: 1. Assume responsibility for providing any reservoir engineering consultation to JV, when requested. 2. Design and implement technical exchange workshops among staff of JV and its shareholders on reservoir engineering issues. 3. Establish and maintain liaison with JV in order to become thoroughly familiar with JV plans and ongoing work and identify issues for shareholder review or discussion. 4. Participate actively in shareholder review of JV project milestones and completions. 5. Write summary reports of JV reservoir engineering activities and forecast future technical needs. 6. Make Saudi Aramco aware of any new technological applications learned from JV interaction. 7. Assume responsibility for being cognizant of Saudi Aramco reservoir management projects, practices, and innovations. | ||
| Skills | SELECTION CRITERIA: Education: B.S. in Petroleum engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Advanced degree preferred. Other Industrial training courses are expected. 1. Typically has 10 years experience as a practicing reservoir engineer (with exploration assignment) is preferred. 2. Work experience with major oil/gas company preferred, with exposure to different basins. 3. Strong background in economic analysis. 4. Experience in JV activities preferred. 5. Excellent skills in productivity tools for the PC. 6. Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation skills. 7. Suitable personality to deal harmoniously and effectively with people. 8. Generalist rather than specialist, i.e., experience in various reservoir engineering specialties: deep gas wells, logging operations, well design, completion, testing, stimulation, integrated studies, etc. 9. Strong background in contractual agreements for logging, testing, and related services. | ||
