The Pluto project is now in construction phase and we now have an opportunity for a specialist Jetty Engineer to join the team in Karratha. This role is primarily responsible for delivering construction for the Jetty component of the main construction site. Your primary deliverables will be to ensure the contractors execution plans are consistent with the project schedule, plan and construction budget and work with the managing contractor to achieve this. | ||
| Skills | Ideally, your experience will include marine, civil and structural projects connected to the LNG industry. However, exposure to Mining and Resources, or Heavy Industry and process related projects from either the client or contractor environment will set you in good stead for this career building, high profile role. Hands on exposure to piling, reinforced concrete, precast concrete, heavy lifts and structural steel erection (or a combination there of) would be advantageous. Crucial to success in this role is experience in: • Project Procedures; • Maintaining schedule, quality and cost-effectiveness; • Personnel selection and supervision; • Equipment selection and supervision; • Rapid problem solving; • Managing a Contractor to ensure engagement in the project works; and • Managing and meeting environmental compliance conditions. • Understanding of project management software.
