Shiv-Vani today is a multi-dimensional on-shore oil & gas service company. Having all the oil & gas exploration services from deep drilling, directional drilling, work over, CBM development, 2D-3D data acquisition well logging to offshore logistics within the ambit of Shiv-Vani bouquet of exploration service, Shiv-Vani is moving upwards to become an Exploration Company itself. Company is looking for Vice President to head its “SEISMIC” operations in India & overseas business. Job Responsibilities • Will be the overall in - charge for all the seismic projects. • Must understand the challenges, constraints and timeframes for project delivery. • Responsible for the strategic planning for all technical matter related to all seismic operations. • Ensure the quality of service performed on all the projects in accordance with contractual obligates & relevant legal & regulatory requirements. • Prepare budget for all the project work in accordance to company’s business plans. • Negotiations with prospective contractor / supplier as required. • Ensure the all SV Policies & procedures are strictly followed at all project sites. • Develop & implement a strategic & operational plan for all the employees working under him. • To ensure that commercial targets are met. • Monitoring of Project cost and schedule. • Ensure optimum utilization of Human Resources. • Monitor & ensure that all seismic operations are carried out more efficiently. • Build & Develop good relationship with all the external & internal clients. | ||
| Skills | Qualifications: • Must have 15-20 yrs. of experience ( minimum 5 yrs as a VP Seismic) • Must be Msc Geophysicist or PhD, you will have proven experience in your technical field and as a project / party manager / technical team leader. • In addition to a broad technical background in geoscience (possibly more focused in either geology or geophysics) you will demonstrate knowledge of some of the following: • Project management techniques • 2D and 3D seismic interpretation / processing / acquisition. • Exploration and prospectivity evaluation including risking and ranking • Interpretive processing / rock physics • Basin modeling • Structural geology • Knowledge of Primevera Software • Must have good knowledge of computers. • Well versed with Indian conditions & local laws. | ||
