| Description | The Energy in the built environment department at Ecofys has extensive experience in all major built environment sectors, including residential, educational, retail, commercial, industrial and public building infrastructure. Ecofys is showing the way forward by integrating sustainable buildings, sustainable energy infrastructure and renewable energy production. To do so we combine our knowledge of policies, regulation & economics, energy infrastructure and energy systems, advanced building envelope design, and various renewable energy technologies. Our built environment solutions feature and optimal balance of sustainability, functionality and economical performance. The Challenge As one of the leading international consultancy firms we are increasingly responsible for the complete project management of turn key sustainable built environment solutions. These projects often cover hundreds of million euros of investments, feature very complex stakeholder settings and span many years. Your Job We are looking for experienced and top class project managers to manage very large sustainable real estate and infrastructure development projects. Based on your project management experience, skills and leadership capabilities you successfully bring these large projects from start to finish. You’ll have opportunities to be responsible for some of the largest and most exciting international sustainable building and infrastructure projects while making best use of the experience and knowledge of the complete Ecofys organization. We currently have a solid portfolio of sustainable built environment projects across a number of European countries. Responsibilities - Co-responsible for defining deliverables of land mark built environment projects. - End-responsible for delivering land mark projects results in terms of deliverables, timelines and budgets. | ||
| Skills | Qualifications & experience - A degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a joint degree in any of these. - Very strong communication skills. - Very strong commercial skills. - At least 10 years of successful working experience especially on managing complex building and/or energy infrastructure projects. - Good language skills (at least your mother tongue and fluency in English). Knowledge of the Dutch language would be preferential. - Initially based in The Netherlands, but willing to work internationally and open to future relocation. | ||
