Overview of Position:

Chevron's Energy Technology Company, Reservoir and Seal Prediction Team has an immediate opening for an experienced Seal Analyst in its Houston office.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Conducting projects requiring; stratigraphic interpretation of mud-rich siliciclastic systems, the integration of petrophysical properties and fault framework modeling as components of seal risking.
• Working with members of the Reservoir and Seal Prediction Team and explorationists in our operating units to provide pre-drill seal forecasts to evaluate risk for our worldwide exploration program.
• Conducting independent project work and consulting with business unit personnel.
• Evaluating and desiging new technology solutions.
• Developing technical programs and teaching courses.
SkillsRequired Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this job, applicants must have:

• A graduate degree in sedimentology, stratigraphy, structural geology or rock physics with a strong background in seal analysis.
•Computer skills related to seal analysis and specialty programs for office productivity.
•Petroleum industry experience.
•The ability to work individually and collaboratively with technical and operations teams.
•Strong presentation skills.
