RPS Energy has an established track record with numerous major clients. We are embarking on a major programme of further expansion in this sector and are seeking the right individual to support this expansion with immediate involvement in high profile flagship energy projects. Main Responsibilities • Undertake geological evaluations as designated. • Contribute to multi-disciplinary studies of fields, prospects and wells. • Technical representation • Liaise with clients • Produce reports and licence applications to tight deadlines. | ||
| Skills | The candidate should possess: • Higher degree (M.Sc/PhD) in Geology or Earth Sciences. • Have direct experience of the oil industry. • Strong knowledge of geological basics needed for evaluations and volumetric estimations. • Basic understanding of petrophysics and reservoir evaluation. • Experience of industry software would be an advantage. • Knowledge of drilling operations. • Ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary projects. • Be able to work to tight deadlines and deliver. • Must have initiative and motivation. | ||
