Purpose of Job:
To provide petrophysical engineering support within a multi-disciplinary team environment to the appraisal, development, reservoir studies and management of the assets within the Company’s  Asset Units.

Principle Accountabilities:
• Review and analyse all available petrophysical data of his area of studies, enhance and validate petrophysical interpretation in order to optimise use and integration of data in the construction of static and dynamic reservoir models.
• Provide correct integration of petrophysical information, understanding and requirements into development plans and activity proposals.
• Translate well objectives and business requirements into fit-for-purpose, cost effective data acquisition strategy and programs.
• Provide operational input and support to well and reservoir surveillance activities, e.g. well reviews, cased hole data acquisition for reservoir monitoring, well engineering operations planning and support, including well-site operations where necessary.
• Co-ordinate and QA/QC petrophysical log and core data acquisition activities, and provide operational petrophysical support and evaluation of new data acquired.
• Ensure the integrity of the corporate log database.
• Keep up to date with new technology developments within the discipline and acquire other Petroleum Engineering disciplines basic knowledge to allow an active participation in multidisciplinary groups.
• Coaching, mentoring & developing local Bruneian staff will be an integral part of the job.

• A proven ability to apply innovative and cost-effective ways of working is expected.

Minimum Qualifications and experience required:
• A degree in Petroleum/Chemical Engineering degree or any other engineering/science degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in petrophysical and subsurface engineering, including well-site operations experience/exposure.
• Broad experience in various logging technology and petrophysical interpretation technique, including open hole, cased hole and core-log evaluation.
• Experienced in Petrophysics data management and integration.
