Purpose of Job: To ensure that the project scopes are constructed, tested, pre-commissioned, commissioned and handed over in a safe and professional manner. Principle Accountabilities: • Supervise project engineering support personnel & vendors involved in commissioning • Inspect test, (Pre)-commission & start-up facilities ensuring procedures are implemented, acceptance criteria are met, & experience is passed on to operator. • Co-produce quality commissioning documentation, by input to design, review of procedure & construction planning, in their particular disciplines. • Carry out hands on/site training in own discipline for team & selected personnel. • Identify with team leader & construction source to resolve Technical queries, punch lists, design error and to follow up to close out agreed actions in own discipline. • To prepare close out report of completed commissioning activity. • To prepare and manage necessary commissioning service contract if required. | ||
| Skills | Skill/Competence: Mechanical/Process Engineer: • Machinery (pumps, compressors, etc) static equipment, piping & pipelines, leak test, function & performing testing. Appreciation of Electrical & Instrumentation (DCS/IPS) systems. Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I): • E&I equipment, including specialist hands on skills on FGS, DCS/IPS and control systems or alternatively electrical power & distribution Pneumatic/Hydraulic systems, appreciation of mechanical & process systems. Minimum Qualifications and experience required: • An Engineering degree in either Mechanical/Chemical/Control/Electrical or equivalent. • Minimum of 5 years working experience in Oil & Gas industries. • Preferably with offshore experience & minimum of 4 years in testing of Oil & Gas equipment. And, familiar with production operations, construction and hydrocarbon systems. | ||
