Purpose of Job: To provide comprehensive Production Technology expertise to the subsurface study team in a Petroleum Engineering organisation. Principle Accountabilities: • Provide production technology input into the study team to ensure project value is maximised. • Perform studies covering but not limited to sand management, smart well deployment, completion and stimulation design. • Implement fit-for-purpose technologies to maximise project value. • Lead a project through the well delivery process. • Provide Production Technology input in VARs, RtLs and peer assists, as required. • Coaching, mentoring & developing local Bruneian staff will be an integral part of the job. | ||
| Skills | Skill/Competence: • A good team player with track record in conducting Production Technology studies. Experience in oil rim development and gas cap blowdown studies would be an advantage. • Excellent inter-personal and team skills. Experience working in a multi-discipline and/or multi-cultural team would be advantage. • A proven ability to apply innovative and cost-effective ways of working is expected. Minimum Qualifications and experience required: • A university degree in Engineering or any other related engineering discipline. • Minimum of 8 years in Production technology experience with field development planning experience. • Proficient in the use of the following tools; Prosper, IPM, Welcat. Experience in PWRI-frac, FIST, STIM2001 and Shellfrac would be an advantage. • Experience in sand prediction preferably using PT software, FIST. | ||
