DescriptionThe manufacturer of a new generation of lightweight, flexible, non-metallic, un-bonded pipes for use in sub-sea and other applications, is seeking an experienced Riser Project Engineer to join growing Houston Engineering Team.

Job Descriptions:
- Performing design and analysis of deepwater risers, including global
analysis, stress analysis, fatigue analysis of risers;
- Detailing in engineering projects;
- Conducting the pipe assembly testing;
- Participating in design of riser hardware and accessories;
- Interfacing with hardware design, and procurement;
- Interfacing with Project Managers for manufacturing, quality control and acceptance criteria.

Previous experience with either manufacturers or consulting firms is highly desirable.
Skills- Master or PhD degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or other Engineering degree with the riser work related experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with a recognized riser engineering
company related to analysis and design of all types of deepwater and shallow
water risers attached to floating systems.
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), be self
motivated and a team player capable of working in a multi-disciplinary project environment.
- Proficiency in Orcaflex, or Flexcom.

Flexible riser installation experience is a plus.
