| Description | The manufacturer of the new generation of lightweight, flexible, non-metallic, un-bonded pipes for use in sub-sea and other applications, is looking for the Drafter / Designer to join a growing Houston Engineering Team. Our mission is to be truly global organization that delivers high value products to our customers through the right people, technologies and processes. Engineering Drafter / Designer will: • Create 3-D & 2-D complex mechanical, structural models & drawings (CAD) and bill of materials from Engineer's sketches. • Perform various calculations with respect to part fit and dimensional tolerances. • Make detail drawings of assemblies and parts with specifications for machining and welding. • Dispatch drawings or engineering corrections, through existing approval processes to the receiving party. • Communicate with engineers and procurement staffs for fabrication and procurement. • Manage drawing documents; • Be able to QA/QC work performed by self and others. | ||
| Skills | - 3-year Associates Degree or higher with 5-10 years of experience. - Proven strong knowledge in mechanical and electrical. - Must have experience with SolidWorks, and with AutoCad; - Proficient in MS Office Suite, such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. - Self motivated with leadership attitude, able to accomplish tasks with little supervision. -Previous experience with either manufacturers or engineering firms is highly desirable. | ||
