| Description | 1. To lead and coordinate the activities of Projects Managers/ Construction Managers on different projects. 2. To grant to the projects the necessary resources for execution and implementation (personnel, logistics, etc...) in coordination with different departments (Equipment, QA/QC, HRD, Safety, etc...). 3. Assist, if and when necessary, the PM in his interfaces with the clients, ensuring that the interests of the company are protected. 4. To develop a combined strategy between Operations and Tendering ensuring submitted bids are commensurate with local market conditions, incorporate an appropriate degree of expertise and preclude the company from financial risk. 5. To source graduate Engineers to progressively develop for back up and senior staff positions and evaluate incumbent staff for ongoing development, reallocation and or replacement. | ||
| Skills | 1. A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 2. Minimum 20 years experience in major construction companies, covering the position of Operations Manager for at least 5 years with good exposure to all the areas of construction: civil works, lifting, piping, structural steel, internals, electrical and instrumentation, painting and insulation. | ||
