DescriptionWorldwideworker, an International Human Capital Solutions Provider focused on the global energy industry, is looking for a IT Help Desk Support for their office in Dubai.

- Job will be 5 days / week

Duties:
• Identifying & Troubleshooting hardware (Desktops, laptops, printer, scanner etc) and software issues for staff.

• Basic network administration with strong knowledge of Internet, TCP/IP, LAN's, WAN’s and wireless LAN's.

• Providing anti virus solutions, installing anti virus software and removal of PC viruses if need be .

• Setting up email accounts in MS Outlook / Outlook Express (POP3/IMAP) for staff and troubleshoot any email related problem .

• Setting up laptops, desktops and Basic Windows, desktop and laptop troubleshooting skills .

• Taking regular backups .

• Posting jobs on the website .

• Maintain PC inventory .

• Provide advice and procurement administration on any IT related purchase of products and services .

• Responsible for general administrative duties including handling telephone calls at times .

• Coordinating business travel reservations including flights and hotels for staff and candidates for the Dubai Office.
SkillsThe candidate should have a degree in Computer Science/ IT Technology or equivalent with around 3 years of experience in IT Support/Helpdesk functions.

Prior experience in handling admin tasks will be preferred.

Good knowledge of Windows XP, Vista, MS Office software

Programming skills in HTML, Java, asp.net etc

RemarksPreference will be given to candidates based in Dubai and who are on their father's or husband's visa.
