DescriptionA Reputed Oil and Gas Company is on the look out for an IT Support Analyst.

• Job purpose :
To provide IT & Telecom System Administration and end user support to
Company’s Field, Pipelines Office.

Key responsibilities :
System Administration
• Supporting company’s Field and three Remote offices.
• Supported Hardware: Laptops / Desktops / Workstations, Printers & Scanners, Fax Machines, Photocopiers, Network Devices (Routers and Switches)
• Maintain Windows Active Directory.
• User account creation and maintenance on Windows Active directory environment
• Email account creation and maintenance for local user and web access users in Domino environment.
• Maintain File system permissions and Shares on the File Server and Orion Server.
• Keeping up to date on Operating System and other patches and security updates
• Monitoring of Antivirus Console for up-to-date virus definitions and scanning engines
• Ensure all client computers are up to date with Antivirus Server
• Implement system enhancement for performance advantage and reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks:
o Daily Monitoring All Server Log files
o Daily Monitoring All Server Disk space utilization
o Daily Monitoring Network Bandwidth utilization
o Daily Monitoring Private Branch Exchange(PBX) Telephone Systems for any errors.
o Monitoring Communication Room 3 times a week for any Problems / Errors.
• Perform and monitor scheduled backup task on all servers, workstation, etc..
• Perform the Data Restore from the backup media whenever the request comes from end users.
• Perform Off-site storage and rotation of backup media .
• Computer and Printer Support to Central Control Room Systems (i.e.Solar and Honeywell)
• Monitoring of Communication equipments at company’s communication building for further reporting.
• Providing Computer support to Project Contractors.

Helpdesk tasks
• Helpdesk support to computers & Telecom users at company’s Field, company’s office,Pipeline Control Station, Rig Site Office, and Town office.
• Trouble shoot and solve PC Hardware, Software, Printers, Network, Telecom, Fax and Photocopier problems.
• Provide consumables to Computers, Printers, Fax Machines and Photocopiers.
• Install and configure computer Hardware, Network Devices and Telecom equipments.
• Install Configure and Maintain Computer Software (Desktop Operating Systems and all office automation applications).
• Orion System client side software installation and configuration.
• Maintain Consumables for PC’s, Printers, and Fax and Photo copiers.
• Maintain Hardware and Software Inventory.
SkillsQualifications

University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering.

Certification in Microsoft Network systems and Cisco Internetworking.

4 Years of working experience with Mircosoft Servers and Desktop Operating Systems in a multi-site, multi protocol Local Area Network (LAN) / Wide Area Network (WAN) environment (role of Network/System Admin or equivalent).

Expert knowledge of Domino based Messaging system and Web Server administration.

Knowledge of Oracle Database Administration.
Knowledge of Enterprise Resourse Planning (ERP) System support.

Excellent technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
