DescriptionColt Group are a leading International Engineering Manpower supply company based in Japan, Europe, Oman and Qatar and operating extensively in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia.

Our client is currently looking for a Head of Commissioning for a small gas plant in Oman.

Responsibilities:
• To assist in developing, implementing and managing a program to enable to integrated Commissioning/Start Up and handover.
• Candidate shall also review and develop the individual project/sub-project commissioning execution plan and rollup into an integrated field plan.
• Direct hands on experience in plant/system start up are required.
• Provide an overview and management feedback ensuring safe execution of commissioning scope of work at designated field sites of acetyls.
• Responsible for development of commissioning system and processes.
• Responsible for building and leading commissioning team, inclusive of verification team.
• Provide a single point of contact for operations interface on commissioning activities.
• Develop/provide assistance on commissioning and operating, leak and loop testing and commissioning dossiers.
• Develop commissioning management commissioning philosophy and strategy, methodology and planning.
• Provide commissioning input for system specific safety operability reviews.
SkillsQualification and Experience:
• BS or equivalent qualification in Engineering.
• 10+ years experience in process plant engineering, start-up and operation, preferably in a Gas Plant.
• Competent in the application of IT packages including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent technical, planning and motivational skills.
