| Description | Welltec® is a rapidly growing international oilfield service company that designs and develops the unique Well Tractor® technology used for interventions in oil and gas wells. In 2007, we opened our first office in Mexico, bringing the total number of offices up to 34. The General Manager for Mexico is expected to establish and grow a Welltec® sales and operational presence, based in Villahermosa and covering all of Mexico. Adjacent geographical areas might require the presence or assistance from time to time. The goal is to build a strong revenue-driven business through a self-sustaining organization by providing the Welltec® product line at a high service quality level to the petroleum industry in this region. The General Manager for Mexico will report directly to Vice President, Americas. As General Manager, you will have a greatly varied work day with changing projects. Main tasks will be: • Strategic decisions and customer relations • Sales and marketing of Welltec’s services • Building a profitable operation and P&L responsibility • Development of a trained staff of Field Engineers • Managing operations • Implementation and maintenance of a recognized QHSE structure | ||
| Skills | Qualifications: The ideal candidate has managerial experience from a service company, preferably with a wireline and/or completions background and is able to use a combination of technical and leadership skills to deliver both professional sales and service quality to our customers. The ideal candidate has a proven record on business developing and operations management combined with a strong experience from the Gulf of Mexico area. Accordingly, the ideal candidate will be: • Self-driven and ambitious • Experienced in CRM and business negotiation • Experienced in the wireline business • Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and in writing | ||
