| Description | Job Responsibilities: • Primary liaison between the field warehouse operations and the Aktau office. • Responsible for managing field based Company personnel and Contractors/Services in the sourcing, procurement, logistical management and provision of, materials and equipment, necessary for the successful execution of all operations performed in the drilling, completion, testing and abandonment of, exploration and development wells for the Company. • Responsible for ensuring that logistical operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner and that costs are minimised where practical and exposure of operations to non-productive time is avoided. • Provide field warehousing supervision, support and assistance when required. Discuss and review daily logistical requirements for all Drilling & Workover operations. • Ensure all Company Safety Rules and HSEQ Regulations are followed. Work with Drilling & Workover personnel, Field Supervisors, Material & Logistic Coordinators, Rig Contractors and 3rd party Service Providers to ensure that modern and internationally recognised industry practices are followed and/or implemented. Participate in HSEQ related audits and investigations as required by the Drilling & Workover Department. • Provide co-ordination between Company Drilling & Workover operations and Company Warehousing operations so as to ensure that all the necessary materials, equipment and services arrive and leave the location as necessary to ensure continuous and cost efficient operations. • Ensure Material & Equipment are provided in accordance with the Contract. Participate in Quality and pre-acceptance related audits and inspections as required by the Drilling & Workover Department. • Ensure that Material & Equipment Providers meets all Contractual requirements, verify and approve all orders and deliveries by way of material requests, service requests, transfer requests, contracts, tickets and invoices. • Ensure proper inventory keeping and cost allocation of all consumables, materials and equipments used to conduct the Drilling & Workover operations. • Overall responsibility for the proper handling, stock keeping and administration of Materials & Equipment being dispatched and received into and out of the country, and between well locations and the warehouses. • Overall responsibility for the proper organisation, management and operation of the Drilling & Workover warehouses, yards and stores for tubulars, pump rods, wellhead equipments, chemicals, tools, etc. • Overall responsibility for liaising with all transportation and logistical Service Providers for road/sea/air transportation. • Overall responsibility for verifying all transportation, stocking and importation contracts and invoices. • Overall responsibility for maintaining a minimum stock level of all materials and equipment. • Liaise with and assist the Accounting and Finance Departments regarding activities such as order placement verification, inventory reconciliation, stocking, invoicing queries, material reconciliation, etc. • Work with Drilling & Workover Department personnel as required to accomplish all well objectives, including other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Drilling & Workover Department. • Teach, train and develop junior or trainee staff. • Reports to the Drilling & Workover Manager. | ||
| Skills | Job Requirements & Experience: • Minimum 12 years of relevant drilling experience, at least 5 years as a Materials & Logistical Superintendent. • Higher Education from an industry recognised school. • International Experience, preferably with some in Eastern Europe, Middle East or Asia countries. • Experience with Material & Logistical requirements for remote locations. • Experience with "drilling" exploration and development type operations. • Strong project management and administrative skills, team orientated and ability to communicate. • Commitment to safety and quality. • Able to mentor, train and supervise junior and/or local staff. • Fluent in English (spoken, written and reading), Russian is an advantage. | ||
