| Description | We are an entrepreneurial company that provides innovative electronic traceability solutions for the Energy Industry to allow identification, localisation and maintenance of strategic assets in rough environments. The company has developed the first and only patented RFID technology able to read and write tags underwater and continues to work on cutting edge RFID solutions. Our technology fits a wide range of applications in the Energy Industry: • Monitoring and maintenance of offshore and onshore oil & gas pipelines • Maintenance of offshore platforms • Access control to onshore and offshore production sites • Shipyards inventory control The BD Manager will report directly to the CEO. Main tasks You will be a liaison between the industry and the technology and R&D team in France (30% of international travel required). 1. Market and technology research 2. Shaping of the Sales strategy for the European Market 3. New Product Introduction (NPI) planning 4. Lead and participate to Customer’s presentations, European Upstream exhibitions and conferences 5. Marketing, advertising and promotion planning (need to manage the promotion strategy - Exhibitions and conferences, within an allocated budget and within the regional priorities) 6. Sales responsibilities for the European Market 7. Health and safety adherence 8. Self-development and continuing personal development | ||
| Skills | Education • Background in Electronics RFID, Materials Chemistry Packaging & Data Processing. • A Masters degree in a technical or scientific field, a PhD degree is a significant plus. Skills • Excellent understanding of the subsea O&G industry. You need to keep in touch with the Offshore industry, the new trends, developments and technology needs. You need to communicate with the technical team (via the technical director) to orient the R&D in the most efficient development direction. Preferably, previous experience with a subsea engineering company. • Need to have your own network of contacts in the subsea O&G industry, customers. • Great communication skills. • Fluency in English, French will be an advantage. • Self-starter and self-motivated individual, goal oriented person. • Able to work under pressure and without much supervision.
