| Description | Singapore Petroleum Company Limited (SPC) is an integrated oil and gas company boasting business activities which include oil and gas exploration and production, gas pipelines, refining, terminalling and distribution, marketing, trading and sale of refined products. Initially to be an office-based role in Singapore and offshore duties when drilling commences. Your responsibilities involve: • developing and facilitating the implementation of E&P related plans, systems, policies and programs such as crisis emergency plan, oil spill response plan for oil rigs, medical evacuation plan, on-site (operator) occupational health and safety policies and programs. • providing advice and guidance to SPC’s E&P Group on the EHSS requirements for its E&P operators and interests in E&P assets such as PSCs. This can include liaising and discussing with SPC E&P Group’s business partners and consultants on various EHSS issues and requirements. • managing EHSS projects relating to the SPC Group’s E&P assets, investments and activities. This includes conducting EHSS reviews and audits covering seismic, engineering, operation and construction activities, liaising with regulatory bodies (from various countries) on the compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and managing Quantitative Risk Assessment studies of E&P facilities. • participating in process safety operations such as HAZOP/HAZID studies, liaising with consultants on the conduct of radiation and dispersion calculations. • keeping abreast of new EHSS legislations in countries which SPC has presence in the E&P sector, and advice relevant parties in SPC Group on new issues and implications. • participating in ad-hoc E&P related projects. | ||
| Skills | The successful candidate is expected to: have a degree in EHSS with relevant professional qualifications. have at least 7 years of relevant EHSS experience in E&P sector, preferably with good knowledge and experience of international EHSS standards and requirements for the E&P sector, in particular, for countries in Asia such as China. be a team player with strong communication and analytical skills. be able to multi-task and co-ordinate several activities/projects simultaneously. | ||
