Purpose of Job:
To lead the Identify and Assess, Select and first part of the Define Phase for the infrastructure projects and to lead the facilities work for the new field developments as part of a multidiscipline team.

Principle Accountabilities
• To determine the surface facilities development plans for projects, including; to coordinate Engineering input of all disciplines, to determine business cases and economics, HSE and sustainable development aspects, Project management and execution strategies, to coordinate the Petroleum Engineering, Operations and Maintenance input, Liaising directly with LNG plant and refinery as stakeholders.
• To developing strategies for infrastructure upgrades and plans for rationalisation of facilities and infrastructure.
• To implement innovative, cost saving technology with a view to reduce the UTC of projects and maximise their economic benefits to the shareholders.
• To contribute in the areas of planning, cost and technical matters during meetings with the Petroleum Unit and other Government Departments.
• Mentoring & developing young Bruneian staff will be an integral part of the job.
SkillsSkill/Competence:
• The position requires a combination of strong technical, analytical, innovative and commercial skills.
• Ability to work in a changing environment.
• Previous exposure to production operations and petroleum engineering and experience with secondary and tertiary recovery projects would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills and an aptitude for taking initiatives are essential, as is the ability to work in multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary teams.

Minimum Qualifications and experience required:
• A degree in Engineering Disciplines preferably Process, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in oil and gas industry including front-end/project management.
• Experience in Exploration & Production environment essential and familiarity with petroleum engineering are preferred.
