| Description | A Leading Multinational E&P Company is looking for Offshore Installation Manager for their India Office. The Job Offers the following responsibilities: • Manage and direct all offshore Field staff to ensure that condensate and gas quality and production rates meet, as a minimum, contracted gas sales & Partner requirements and specifications, and that specified quantities of condensate and gas are produced from the Field reservoir during the year in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner. • Ensure that all opportunities to exceed minimum requirements are pursued where practical. • Cost control through optimization. • Reports to General Manager Production. • Manage and direct all offshore platform staff to ensure oil, gas quality and production rates meet contracted gas sales & Partner requirements and specifications. Ensure that all opportunities to exceed minimum requirements are pursued where practical. • Accountable to the Production Operations Manager for all matters, reportable occurrences and operational difficulties which could affect the safe and cost effective continuous supply of natural gas and condensate from the Field. Responsible for ensuring that all exceptions are logged, investigated and lessons learned implemented. • Co-ordinate and optimise company resources, human and material, in the pursuance of all activities performed in the Field in accordance with company policies to ensure the most economic and safe operation of facilities and, where appropriate, contracted services. • Indirectly controls operations budget through signing of material requests • Ensure that the relevant Health, Safety, Security and Environmental elements are executed. Promote a safety culture amongst all offshore personnel through formal and informal forums to ensure all safety items raised by the HSSE, individuals or offshore safety committee are fully reviewed and acted upon as required. Investigate each and every accident/Near miss occurring in the installation and implement remedial measures. Coordinate with base office if any assistance is required in this regard • Ensure all field personnel are fully trained and competent for their respective job requirements • Ensure Platform Inspections and routine emergency drills are carried out. Organize safety meetings and safety drills regularly. Prepare and maintain minutes. Encourage suggestions and ensure follow up • Ensure compliance with Asset Integrity Inspection for safety critical and business critical equipments. Implement corrective actions, to ensure maintenance of structural and pressure system integrity. • Coordinate with Logistics, Drilling and Supply Chain • Take Emergency Decisions on the Platform. • Ensure that all work at the installation is done safely and work permit system is followed. • Maintain high standards of housekeeping through effective supervision. • Plant Turnaround maintenance. • Manpower allocation and deployment, leave sanction, performance appraisal, employee welfare, contract and catering supervision Interact with the following personnel: Internal: • All offshore personnel – for operational issues • Production Operation Manager - for reporting of daily activities, exceptions and short/ long term plans • Asset Integrity Manager - for inspection maintenance programs and equipments • Offshore Support Manager - for logistics requirements and other vendor supports • Rig OIM and Company man - on well and HSSE related issues. • HSSE Manager - on HSSE Reports and for support on various HSSE programs, initiatives. • Production Engineering Manager - for well engineering and well stock optimization issues. • Supply Chain Manager - for materials and services • Shore Base Manager - for transport of urgent materials and HSSE related issues • Administrative Manager - for travel arrangements of employees • PMT group - for engineering related External: • Contractors – for catering, diving, painting, inspection • Temporary Crew on Rigs • Coast guard - in case of emergencies or condensate spill. | ||
| Skills | Ideal Candidate Must have the following expertise and skill set: -Offshore Oil & Gas processing complex and well head platform working experience. Exposure to operation and maintenance of critical oil & gas equipments Viz. gas turbines, compressors, generators, pedestal cranes, diesel engines, pumps and basic gas processing equipments and well head equipments. -Engineering Graduate/Post Graduate -Knowledge of CMMS system. -Proficiency in MS office, out look mails etc. -Good English written and verbal communication -Promotes team work-clarifies roles, accountability and reporting relationships in -order to motivate, drive results and promote collaboration. -Coaches and coordinates the large multi task force. -Takes decisive action-identifies and takes immediate action to reduce risks to people and equipment. -Shows self control, remains calm and focused in stressful situations. -Manages change – address production and personnel changes from a process perspective. | ||
