DescriptionThe candidate would be expected to take a range of roles, either within our client's offices or elsewhere including external offices/power stations. Must be willing to work overseas on short-term assignments.

The candidate would be expected to be able to work largely unsupervised and to report to senior staff as required to suit the particular project.

The candidate would be expected to be able to carry out work and write up associated reports that could be issued following minor modifications following peer review.

The best candidate will not want to be limited to his/her own particular technical discipline but will be able to “think outside the box” taking account of peripheral issues.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough electrical engineering background and the ability to work in different roles in different circumstances. If the candidate has the right qualities then he/she would be expected to be able to develop and achieve Associate or higher status.
Skills- Chartered Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineer or qualifications necessary to achieve the same.
- Have the ability to define own goals and work without close supervision.
- Ability to write technical reports and similar documents.
- Numerate.
- Preferably would have some post-graduate experience but if necessary graduate engineers will also be considered.
- Experience of hydroelectric plant and/or medium and high voltage electrical equipment.
