| Description | The Renewables/Low Carbon team in the Generation Renewable and Environment (GRE) Sub-division (Generation Business Division (GBD)- Energy Unit) presently has 11 staff and requires a new Grade D/E to play a prominent role in the growth of the renewable business. The new staff will have project management responsibilities as well as assist in business development. He/She will support junior members of the team and provide technical strength in solar technologies. As the Renewables/Low Carbon team grows, the expectation is that the staff will lead a small solar technologies sub-team. Role: - To take a prominent role in the development of the Renewables/Low Carbon’s Team technical advisory work in solar powered energy technologies. - To manage solar and other renewables/low carbon projects. - To participate in renewable technical advisory projects/assignments. - To promote technical and professional excellence. - To support team leader and team members Responsibilities: - To assist in business development . - To manage project teams. - To follow solar market developments.
