| Description | A Leading Multinational E&P Company is on the immediate look out for a Field General Manager. Job Purpose Management of the Fields and its operations, ensure each area and facility is managed and operated in accordance with the Company's, corporate and legislative standards for integrity, safety and the environment. Provide leadership to the individual teams and ensure delivery against the Company's KPI’s in safety, production and cost. | ||
| Skills | Degree in Engineering, Scientific or Management discipline with minimum of 10 years experience within the oil and gas operations, with a minimum of 5 years as Installation Manager. Have excellent knowledge and understanding of upstream and midstream operations, to be able to make informed decisions that ensure priorities are met and maintained. Able to recognise and evaluate risks, hazards, losses and prevent conflicts between activities. Behaviours Well developed interpersonal and leadership skills, self motivated. Able to work with and guide others through influencing and negotiation to avoid conflict and arrive at the best overall outcome from a business and HSE perspective. Further requirements are open mindedness, the ability to challenge conventional methods to examine all options and possible solutions. Able to motivate and engender these qualities in the teams. Able to recognize the different cultural and behavioural aspects of dealing with a multinational/multilingual work force, and acting accordingly to ensure the best possible outcome. Excellent analytical and leadership abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skill, and report writing capabilities. Possess an excellent knowledge of HSES, applicable government legislation, standards and practices and the business objectives. | ||
