Purpose of Job: Procure and supervise execution of contractor seismic acquisition services; contract holder for these services. Principle Accountabilities: • Application Business Controls in seismic (acquisition) operations, notably HSE, quality, tendering, and budget control standards • Execution of process and responsibilities in seismic operations, notably: - Execution of timely planning and design of survey programmes to meet Customer cost, objectives timing and quality specifications. - Implementation of HSE Plan and interface documents and compliance with Milestone Zero requirements. - Verification that the survey is acquired to specified technical, cost and HSE requirements. • Technical Authority for seismic acquisition matters: - To define policy, procedures, guidelines and written instructions where required within area of expertise and develop/maintain as appropriate. - To establish/maintain expertise networks. - To analyse, identify and propose/promote improvement opportunities. • Contract Holder of geophysical acquisition contracts – To ensure compliance with the terms of the contract and represent the company under terms of the contract, liaise with the line, commercial services and legal to ensure business continuity with respect to contract renewal, assignment or cancellation and liaise with legal on contractual interpretation and disputes. • Mentoring & developing young Bruneian staff will be an integral part of the job. | ||
| Skills | Minimum Qualifications and experience required: • BSc, MSc or PhD. in Geophysics or related subjects. • Minimum of 12 years working experience in geophysics, including at least 3 years hands-on experience in seismic field operations. • Experience in contracting. | ||
