| Description | To provide expert cost engineering support for coordinating, supervising and monitoring the Plant’s annual Operating and Capital Budgets, Five Year Business Plan and establishing the criteria for the department’s KPIs. The incumbent provides a Cost Control service to the Maintenance Department through the use of monitoring, performance evaluation and Management control techniques, applied to the prime responsibility centers. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES To coordinate availability of relevant cost information from various maintenance sections and management. To develop KPIs and produce cost trends and analysis reports for management. To periodically review Maintenance policies and procedures, to identify areas for achieving cost savings and efficient use of asset maintenance. To compile and coordinate production of Operating, Extra Ordinary, Major Maintenance and Capital Budgets for the various departments/sections. To develop, coordinate and revise the Maintenance Department Five Year Business Plan. To coordinate with Finance department, various financial budget requests, approvals, accruals and variance information. To compile performance reports of Operating, Extra Ordinary, Major Maintenance and Capital Budgets for effective management control. To review Stock Material Consumption, Direct Material and Low Value Material purchase, and prepare trends and analysis for abnormality control purposes. | ||
| Skills | Degree in Engineering along with 8 years experience in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry. | ||
