DescriptionThe Project Manager oversees all aspects of assigned projects using industry-standard planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting processes and tools. This role is responsible for coordination and completion of reservoir modeling and field operations projects to be on-time and on budget.

-Define (scope) and implement project plans in accordance with client needs starting with business development proposal scoping through project start-up, execution and completion to cover the entire life cycle
-Manage project activities using industry standard project management processes, approaches and tools
-Contribute to the creation of a Project Management Office (PMO) for Object Reservoir for processes, best practices and tools
-Orient project teams with clearly identified objectives, background and defined roles and responsibilities
-Provide hands-on project management and actively manage project plans, deliverables, dependencies and outcomes for assigned projects to ensure that goals and objectives are achieved on-time, on-target and on-budget
-Establish guidelines for all relevant stakeholders and management committees. Obtain needed approvals from key client stakeholders and sponsors for scope change, invoices and sign-offs to close projects
-Prepare communication plans and project status reports to key stakeholders and governance bodies to provide project updates on activities and deliverables, as well as risks and mitigation strategies
-Define and manage overall change control processes and quality assurance aspects of projects to ensure project success
-Define and implement change-management strategies and plans for client, partner and internal stakeholders
Skills-Masters Degree or equivalent in engineering discipline related to the energy industry
-Must have project management experience with upstream E&P projects
-Extensive knowledge of E&P Oil Field Life Cycle
-Excellent organizational and analytical skills, including the proven ability to adapt to dynamic business and project environments
-Global perspective with ability to understand and work effectively in culturally diverse situations
-Proven ability to manage key stakeholder interests while managing conflicting priorities and interests
-Demonstrated leadership qualities
-Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders; strong presentation and facilitation skills
-Capable of effective use of Microsoft Office and productivity tools
-Highly service and customer-oriented, projects professionalism
-Motivated and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
-Flexible – able to travel to meet client and Object Reservoir business needs
-Field operations experience a plus
-Recognized certification in project management preferred
-Fluency in spoken and written Spanish a plus
