| Description | PETROLEUM GEOLOGIST - EnerVest , a rapidly growing Oil & Gas Company, has a position available for a Geologist in its Charleston, West Virginia office. Key job responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: • Prospect generation and evaluation of geological data from: - Wells - Seismic - Field and field analogues - Remote data • Technical presentations • Ensuring the geological objectives of well programs are achieved • Contributing to multi-disciplinary studies of fields, prospects and wells | ||
| Skills | The position requires a highly-motivated, team-oriented individual, with the ability to work independently. Candidate should have advanced computer skills in Microsoft Applications such as Excel, Access and Word. Experience with Geographix and Kingdom desired. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry required. Master’s Degree desired. Appalachian Basin experience preferred. | ||
