| Description | 1. Manage and direct all site construction activities. 2. Review construction documents, procedures, engineering drawings and deliverables to assess constructability and consistency with contract requirements. 3. Participate in the development of the installation planning package to establish the sequence and duration of activities and optimize project execution. 4. Monitor performance against milestones, resolving contractual and other problems that might arise during execution with Offshore Operations and Project Manager. 5. Participate in the compilation of sub-contractor scopes of work and undertake bid evaluations, making recommendations. Directs and Monitors sub-contractor performance. 6. Identify needs and initiates job instructions and variation proposals to ensure cost effective operations and compliance with contract. 7. Participate in taking necessary action to adjust project schedule to account for changing priorities, delays and other contingencies, ensuring that the costs are within approved budget levels. 8. Evaluate resource usage against approved budget identifying significant variations and ensuring remedial action is taken when necessary. 9. Coordinate will suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely deliveries, mob I demob, etc. 10. Coordinate with certification agencies and warranty surveyors. 11. Prepare Mobilization Plans and Risk Assessments for offshore spreads and follow-up for compliance. 12. Provide commercial and technical input at the estimation stage and later managing installation activities during the execution stage. | ||
| Skills | . B.Sc./B.E/B.tech Engineering (Civil or Mechanical only) from recognized university. 2. 10 years experience in the offshore construction sector with strong technical knowledge. 3. Commercial awareness and cost effectiveness. 4. High standard of written and spoken English. 5. High order of communication skills and a committed team leader. 6. Natural decision maker 7. Flexibility and willingness to relocate to remote onshore locations or offshore. 8. Ability to manage offshore operation with diverse multicultural, multinational workforce. | ||
