Due to the demand for our services, Technical Consulting needs to recruit professional staff around the world.

General Role Description:
Technical Consulting works with its clients on a project basis. Consultants will work with the client to undertake daigniostic assessments of working practices, workflows and technologies. Projects will often move on to ivolve the design and implementation of new workflows for the client. Because of the consulting nature of the work, consultants have to be more than a petrotechnical professional. They will need to have or be able to develop rounded consulting skills, be able to manage client and consulting.
SkillsKey requirements for the candidates are:
* A good understanding of the upstream development and production management processes, and be able to place the production engineering studies in context.
* A good knowledge of production and petroleum engineering practices, either in production management, well productivity management or in petroleum engineering support to production operations.
* Able to understand the primary objectives of the work practice, and match those objectives to the capabilities of the technology in designing the workflows. The workflow spectrum covers oil and gas, both onshore and offshore.
* Able to cooperate with other development teams to enable integrated solutions and workflows involving data and methods from other technical disciplines and their corresponding development teams.

Academic Qualifications:
BSc in Petroleum engineering or earth science related degree with relevant experience and industry training.

Experience:
10 years applied Petroleum Engineering experience with specialisation in production engineering. Experience in reservoir or process engineering will also be considered.

Experience/role:
Experience in applied petroleum engineering practices in design, managing and reporting of field production. Experience in well and gathering system productivity estimation and design. Experience in the application of production forecasting (DCA, Material balance). Experience in applied well design and productivity management (hydraulic simulation and nodal analysis). Candidates with Process engineering experience are also required. Candidates with operations experience will be considered, if the experience covers 'real time' management systems experience.

Software knowledge preferred:
Experience with SIS AVOCET suite of software tools (PIPESIM, OFM, DECIDE! And Integrated Asset Model (IAM)) is a distinct advantage. Candidates with experience in well and pipeline modeling using common industry tools (MBAL/Prosper/Gap/Wellflo/REO) is an advantage. Candidates with experience in process simulation (HYSYS) is also a distinct advantage.Candidates who have an advanced level of competence with development and application of production engineering analysis systems in EXCEL will be considered.

Other requirements:
Good oral and written communication skills in English. Self starter, able to work as part of a team, or alone. Willing to travel.
