Position Description
Chevron Global Upstream is accepting online applications for the position of Global Deepwater Drilling Superintendent located in Houston, Texas, USA.

Overview:
The Drilling Superintendent position will require very strong working knowledge of floating drilling operations as well as other types of rigs. The successful candidate will be required to supervise drilling operations around the world. This position will require travel.

Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
• Achieve incident free operations (IFO)
• Champion operational excellence
• Responsible for safe, reliable, efficient and cost effective drilling operations
• Manage performance of work group
• Develops employees and supports training.
Skills Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Mimimum 15 years
• Demonstrated experience in supervising deepwater subsea drilling and well completion operations
• Experience required with direct supervision of multi-faceted deepwater drilling projects, producing quality results in safety & operational performance
• Need to have significant work experience in a Deepwater Drilling Superintendent position
• Can champion the development and maintenance of a strong OE culture
• Strong focus on HES with proven track record of proactive safety and environmental leadership.
• GED or High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:
• Engineering Degree
• Mimimum 20 years

Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.
