| Description | -Responsible for pressure vessel manufacturing plant operation and maintenance. -Establish plant policies and procedures. Responsible for plant production goals. -Establish and maintain community relations. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff. Reporting Relationship: -Reports directly to the General Manager. -Reporting to the Plant Manager are the following: Warehouse Manager, Welding Foreman, Preparation Manager, Production Foreman, Sandblast/Painting Foreman, Sub-Assemblies Foreman, Maintenance Foreman, Scheduling Principal Duties and Responsibilities: -Supervise and manage Plant Foremen, Warehouse Managers, and plant operations. -Responsible for recruiting and support of operational personnel. -Liaise and confirm production details with the different departments. -Define, schedule, and execute production projects based on detailed information to maximize plan efficiency and supply needs. -Ensure the effective implementation of human resource activities within plant and warehouse, including recruiting, selection, and training, in conjunction with the trade union and in compliance of the collective agreement. -Communicate effective programs for personnel development and improvement. -Perform audit and related functions to ensure operations are complying with company standards, corporate governance, and, as required, to ensure the successful and profitable operation of the Plant. -Actively supports, participates in, and maintains the integrity and on-going function of the company and facility’s safety program; ensuring a safe/healthy work environment -Actively support and participate in the establishment of, and compliance with country labor laws and regulations. -Perform a variety of functions necessary for the successful operation/facility as assigned by the management of the company. -Accountable For -Plant Safety Programs. -Budget adherence and preparation, including actual versus estimated hours -Plant documentation and reporting -Plant maintenance and updates -Overseeing all staff -Project schedules -Plant efficiency -Plant Lean Manufacturing initiatives -Capital equipment | ||
| Skills | Skills and Knowledge: • Five to ten years of Plant Management experience. • Budget management. • Plant Leadership. • Safety Stewardship. • Key experience in steel fabrication / Pressure Vessel Built to ASME Std., plant maintenance. • Shop and project management background. • Product knowledge • Accounting, Engineering, and Purchasing knowledge. • Education:Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred. | ||
