| Description | Emergya Wind Technologies (EWT) is a young and rapidly growing organisation focusing on the marketing and sales of windfarms worldwide. We have our head quarters in the World Trade Centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. EWT uses its’ own, innovative DIRECTWIND turbines. Based on the current order portfolio we invest in increasing the production capacity in the different existing regions of activity as well as increasing activity in new regions. At this moment we are looking for a Senior Blade Engineer: Result areas: 1. Design of rotor blades 2. Rotor blades certification with GL (Germanischer Lloyd) or DNV Principle activities/ objectives: 1. Design of rotor blades - To develop new and cost effective rotor blades - Work closely together with loads engineers of turbine design team and structural blade engineer(s) - To support prototype production with blade production - To support test institutes with rotor blade testing 2. Rotor blades certification - To specify test specifications for rotor blade testing - To manage the rotor blade testing with external test institutes - To support the certification of new rotor blades - To support modifications in certifications - To document design and test results for certification. - To manage the certification process with certification bodies. | ||
| Skills | Requirements Background/ knowledge/ experience: - Master degree aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering with experience in composite design - Experience with design software e.g. focus - 5+ years of relevant experience - Project management skills and/or experience Skills/ special requirements - Excellent communication skills - Time – and project management skills - Fluency in English - Ability to work both independently as well as in a team - Commercially aware - Pragmatic - Self starting - Willingness to travel | ||
