| Description | Emergya Wind Technologies (EWT) is a young and rapidly growing organisation focusing on the marketing and sales of windfarms worldwide. We have our head quarters in the World Trade Centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. EWT uses its’ own, innovative DIRECTWIND turbines. Based on the current order portfolio we invest in increasing the production capacity in the different existing regions of activity as well as increasing activity in new regions. At this moment we are looking for a Mould Engineer: Result areas: 1. Engineering of moulds 2. Support of Sales Department Principle activities/ objectives: 1. Engineering of moulds - To develop mechanical design of new wind turbine blade moulds - To optimize mechanical design of existing moulds - To direct preparation of or prepare drawings and specifications of turbines moulds - To prepare requests for quotations - To evaluate quotations of mould manufacturers - To review manufacturer documents and reports - To direct activities to ensure that manufacturing of moulds complies with specifications - To conduct inspections of moulds during fabrication - To liaise with Blade Designer, Procurement and Project Management - To develop maintenance and spare parts program for new and existing moulds 2. Support of Sales Department - To provide support to the Sales Department | ||
| Skills | Requirements: Background/ knowledge/ experience: - Minimum Bachelor Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering - 5+ years of experience in engineering of large moulds for fibre reinforced composites Skills/ special requirements - Excellent communication skills Time – and project management skills - Fluency in English - Ability to work both independently as well as in a team - Commercially aware - Pragmatic - Self starting | ||
