| Description | Reporting Relation: -Reports directly to the Engineering Manager. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: -Manage company’s jobs/projects from order point to shipment. -Visit customer and customer equipment sites in order to make recommendations to modify process equipment. -Develops proposals for the company's product line, primarily in relation to vessel fabrication. -Confers with Engineers to interpret technical concepts, specifications, and other details pertinent to the preparation of drawings. -Interprets designs and specifications; calculates dimensions, allowances, and other technical aspects involved in accordance with standard practices and within procedural limitations. -Checks and/or approves work on projects delegated including basic layouts, arrangements and design, accuracy of computations, selection of material and equipment, compliance with company standards and safety rules. -Interprets engineering changes on prepared drawings; assigns and instructs drafters in making such changes and checks work. -Checks drawings prepared by drafters for scale, accuracy of dimensions, tolerance, and specifications. -Assists in solutions of shop problems as to interpretation of drawings and recommends methods and procedures as to manufacturing. | ||
| Skills | -Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. -4 to 6 years progressively responsible experience in oil and gas production equipment design. -General knowledge of ASME Section VIII Pressure Vessel Fabrication is preferred. | ||
