| Description | Job Purpose : Lead, direct and provide technical advisory and consultancy to Field operations and standardize operational best practices/lesson learnt in an efficient and safe manner. As a resource person for troubleshooting and operational technical procedures review towards HSE and Operational Excellence. Principal Accountabilities : 1. Advise/consult on operational matters to Production department 2. Drive the sharing and standardizing of operational best practices/lessons learnt to Fields operations and leverage the implementation throughout the Fields. 3. Provide guidance and assistance in troubleshooting of operational problems to operations. 4. Lead operational audit throughout Field operations to ensure all compliances are adhered to. 5. Lead, direct and provide feedback on Field operations overall performance to Field Managers and Head of Production. 6. Drive the identification, evaluation and implementation of appropriate/new process technology to enhance production performance and facilities uptime, cost effectiveness and operational excellence. 7. Provide advice, consultation and audits in HSE to meet statutory & regulatory compliance and inculcate behavioral-based safety. 8. Establish and promote good rapport and networking within PETRONAS, partners and industry officers to identify opportunities by leveraging on knowledge sharing, best practice and benchmarking. 9. Coach, mentor and guide staff and conduct periodic performance review. Counsel/Motivated staff to instill right mindset, behaviors and values to attain high performance standard and highly motivated workforce. 10. Lead, direct and provide coaching on Field operations best practices to OIM and Operations Supervisors. e.g. Emergency Response Plan, Emergency Shutdown Testing, etc. Analyze and track competencies of OIM and Operations Supervisors to close competency gap.
