BASIC FUNCTION:
Ensure intercompany activity is properly recorded in the general ledger and maintain the data integrity of the corporate billing system to facilitate timely billing and settlement of activity as required. Serve as a liaison between the field offices and the Houston Corporate office on intercompany-related matters.

DUTIES:
1.Maintain billing system and generate intercompany invoice coding and wire transfers for delivery to the Treasury Department for payment.
2.Analyze intercompany balances with joint ventures and coordinate with Houston Treasury and the field offices the timely billing and settlement.
3.Monitor and analyze, as needed, monthly intercompany balances and resolve out of balance situations with field offices and Houston Accounting.
4.Prepare journal entries as necessary to keep the intercompany accounts in order.
5.Develop an understanding and detailed knowledge of the legal and operating entity structure within each region, with a particular emphasis on intercompany relationships and related statutory requirements, including the preparation and settling of Bareboat Charters.
6.Monitor field-related intercompany balances, billings and settlement, and advise the respective directors of accounting of any issues.
SkillsEDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting

EXPERIENCE:
1 to 2 years of accounting experience, familiarity with inter-company billing procedures in large organizations preferred.

SKILLS:
Knowledge of moderately complex procedures and practices of accounting.
