Description1. To supervise and manage all quality control Assurance & Control (QA/QC) functions in the workplace and manage a team of senior QC Engineer, QC Engineer, Welding inspectors, QC Inspectors for day to day QA/QC function.
2. Responsible for the preparation and getting client approval of Project Quality Plan,ITP’s, Technical work Instructions, method statements in accordance with contract specification and company quality control system requirements.
3. To interface and coordinate with clients for production and QC matters and coordinate with third party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities.
4. To monitor the project activities for the implementation of the customer and company quality control system requirements and advise the project manager in case of any violation.
5. To act as a focal and coordination point for ISO internal and external audits and to conduct internal and operation audits.
6. To plan and undertake subcontract audits and reviews of subcontractor quality control programs.
7. Responsible for compiling Inspection records and other Quality Control documents and preparation of final document dossier for final client submission.
Skills1. A 4 year Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical with ASNT-Level-II, CSWIP3.1/AWS, BGAS/NACE and ISO lead Assessor training.
2. 15-20 years of over all work experience.
3. Familiarity with ISO-9000 QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEMS.
4. Knowledge of NDE, Welding technology, Painting and code systems.
5. Preparation of ITP’s and procedures.
6. Data Analysis.
7. Report writing and business and technical correspondence.
