| Description | A Reputed Oil and Gas Company is looking out for a HSE Assistant - Pipeline for their operations in UAE. Job purpose : Coordinate and provide oversight for the safety, health, environmental and regulatory compliance programs for pipeline projects, operations and maintenance. Key responsibilities : • Facilitate, coordinate, schedule and administrate the department HSE program. • Work with department employees and contractors to ensure adequate HSE procedures and programs are implemented in construction and operations. • Coordinate, schedule and administrate department HSE training in line with company’s training programme. • Develop and administrate Emergency Exercises. • Develop and implement HSE related SOP’s. • Conduct work permit inspections and sign off as required. • Administrate pipeline participation in the Environmental ISO 14001. • Monitor pipeline operations for compliance with standards and SOP’s. • Administrate a department HSE audit program in line with company’s audit programme. • Maintain required HSE related documentation. • Conduct HSE portion of contractor pre-qualifications. • Provide oversight and QC of Incident Investigations. • Gather, monitor and analyze department statistics. • Gather, monitor and analyze NOC statistics. | ||
| Skills | Qualifications • HSE or related degree and 5 years experience. • Good working knowledge of pipeline or oilfield operations. • Thorough knowledge of applicable HSE standards. • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. • Self motivated, high level of initiative. | ||
