| Description | Santos is embarking on a major opportunity to develop an LNG facility in Gladstone on Australia’s east coast in partnership with PETRONAS. The LNG development will enable Santos to take coal seam gas to international gas markets. We currently produce about 25% of Australia’s coal seam gas (CSG) and reserves and production will continue to grow. Santos is a major operator with 40,000 km2 of CSG acreage in Queensland and New South Wales. The growth of our business brings a significant opportunity for experienced Business Planning & Performance Team Leader to join our Brisbane based team. Specifically you will: • Ensure that the work of the team is planned for the year ahead, individual team members know and understand their roles and responsibilities, that the team deliverables are agreed with CSG management and understood by the team. • Ensure that the capability of the team and individuals team members meets that required to achieve the team’s purpose and deliver agreed outcomes. • Manage and where appropriate, negotiate team priorities to achieve day to day objectives in the context of changing work processes and/or conditions. • Create and maintain an integrated short-term plan for CSG which enables successful implementation of Santos’ business strategy • Ensure appropriate business systems and processes are in place and aligned with Santos policy, corporate systems, processes and strategies • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external governance requirements • Prepare annual corporate and joint venture budgets, forecasts and planning cycles as required throughout the year • Oversee the CSG teams contribution to the corporate portfolio planning process • Manage the key internal and external relationships with a service orientation • Manage the integration with the GLNG project from a CSG perspective • Ensure CSG has an appropriate business planning process aligned with the corporate strategic planning process • Coordinate Partnership audits in conjunction with Finance as required • Transform data into meaning information and provide analysis to generate value-adding business initiatives. | ||
| Skills | You will have a minimum significant experience in the energy, resources or finance sectors, relating to commercial work, business or economic analysis, field and sub-surface operations. Prior experience in oil and gas business planning, performance analysis and reporting is required. | ||
