| Description | Santos is embarking on a major opportunity to develop an LNG facility in Gladstone on Australia’s east coast in partnership with PETRONAS. The LNG development will enable Santos to take coal seam gas to international gas markets. We currently produce about 25% of Australia’s coal seam gas (CSG) and reserves and production will continue to grow. Santos is a major operator with 40,000 km2 of CSG acreage in Queensland and New South Wales. The growth of our business brings a significant opportunity for experienced Appraisal & Implementation Manager to join our Brisbane based team. Specifically you will: • Deliver reserves to enable GLNG FID. Report on progress against target. • Implement current year budget exploration appraisal and development activities in line with GLNG and CSG objectives. Update and reforecast quarterly. • Ensure project leadership and management of all current year upstream CSG operated capital programme. • Pursue connections and commercial sales of pilot gas where viable. • Ensure well and production facilities to plant inlet are optimally producing. Maintain production cost effectively • Specific area of responsibility includes Operated producing assets, GLNGTM JV fields / tenements and other related assets including adjacent permits. • Keep current Development & Delineation Plans and budgets • Preparation of the Short Term Production Forecast and annual budget • Ensure adherence to DOA, OA, JOA P&G Act, EPA, Reserve Guidelines and other governance requirements. | ||
| Skills | We seek a Tertiary qualified senior oil and gas professional with significant relevant experience in the Geoscience or Engineering fields with exposure to reservoir, production engineering, drilling or petroleum disciplines. CSG knowledge and expertise combined with strong project management skills would be highly regarded. This is a key role to the success of this project and will provide the successful applicant significant opportunities to enhance, progress and promote their career. | ||
