| Description | The company is looking for a Senior Accountant who will be a key contributor within the Finance Department and will perform essential duties by demonstrating competencies.The Company is offering this career opportunity to the finance and accounting professionals to take active part in the development phase and to progress with the company. Senior Accountant will responsible for performing professional accounting tasks by supervising the finance staff. Duties And Responsibilites : Provides assistance to the Finance Manager/CFO in financial strategy and planning , reporting and management and development of policies, systems, processes and personnel involved. Supervises the accounting operations and internal control systems to ensure that accounting books and records are maintained as per requirements and standards. Responsible to prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements with focus on reporting of project expenditures, debt and equity financing and fixed assets. Provides necessary support and direction for the implementation of new ERP system with focus on Financial Modules. Provides necessary decision support to the Project Management Team and to transfer the financial management knowledge to new staff. Coordinates various activities with shareholders, banks, contractors, suppliers, auditors and government departments on regular basis. Develops and manages the operating and capital expenditure budgets and to advise on support financial services. | ||
| Skills | Bachelor’s degree in Accounting /Finance or related field from recognised University with an accreditation such as CPA or similar. 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience of financial and accounting operations in well reputed international or local organisation. Experience in ERP implementation and Debt Management is preferable. Thorough understanding of accounting principles, reporting standards, budgeting techniques and costing methodologies. Ability to work independently and to take ownership of projects. Effective communication, interpersonal, analytical and technology skills.
