| Description | A World Class Offshore Oil Service Contractor is on the look out for a Quantity Surveyor. This job requires someone with previous experience in quantity surveying for FPSO projects or any similar offshore projects. The Quantity Surveyors report to the Site Project Control Manager. Main tasks: - Manages the measurement of all quantities installed on site. - Evaluate and quality control of all estimations coming from the yards. - Cross-referencing of materials received. - Checking of progress reports by the Field Supervisors. - Measurement of work and variations. - Measure the work performed by yards and subcontractors. - Monthly cost reporting. - Overall project cost control. - Advising Management of contractual issues and preparing necessary correspondences. - Seek detail information on shop drawings and project documentation in order to access estimates. - Review matters in an analytical manner and provide relevant and accurate feedback. - Show initiative and proactively handle commercial issues with minimum supervision. - Assist in Variation handling and verify cost estimations and change in unit rate. - Good knowledge of cost control/monitoring and provides analysis of Project performance in required detail. - Flexible approach and will quickly adapt to Company’s work procedures and multicultural workforce. | ||
| Skills | University degree in Engineering/Qualified Quantity Surveyor. Over 8-10 years experience in construction of FPSO’s or relatively similar offshore oil and gas projects. | ||
