Description Maersk Oil is looking for Senior Process Engineers to the Engineering Department in our Esbjerg Offices.

The Esbjerg Offices constitute the headquarters for all Maersk Oil production activities in the Danish sector of the North Sea. Approximately 350 onshore employees are on a daily basis working in the office and the working environment is international, hectic, and characterized by highly skilled and motivated employees.

The Senior Process engineer will be a member of the Process Engineering Group. The group supports the corresponding Projects groups, Offshore Production and Maintenance Group and undertakes - in close co-operation with other departments - design of new installations, modification and improvement projects.

Responsibilities
The Senior process engineer is to ensure timely delivery of conceptual, definition and detailed design for field development and platform modification designs to enhance production and improve safety and environmental performance.

Engineering solutions proposed must be economically and technically robust. Furthermore, input to HAZIDS/HAZOPS/ALARP reviews will be required so the integrity of the Facilities are maintained. Close liaison with production, projects, and facility engineering and local consultants will be required in order to provide a cost effective service.

The Senior Process Engineer may be required to lead up to five other Process Engineers, ranging in experience from new graduates up to a similar level of their own experience. In such a "Lead" role, the Senior Process Engineer will be required to manage small projects, and ensuring budgets/deadlines are met. Also, the Senior Process Engineer would be required to perform annual appraisals and assist in training of more junior staff.
SkillsQualifications:
The successful candidate has a degree in chemical/process engineering and has preferably operational experience.
